Title
Walking away
The paradox of migration. Even though you might believe that you’re walking away from something, in reality, you’re moving towards it. Wherever you go, you feel surrounded by the echoes of your past, your homeland, your culture, your good and bad habits. Even if you wish to leave them behind, they’ll remain, growing heavier and more visible over time. To migrate isn’t to escape; walking away is walking inwards. It’s a continuous journey where you carry fragments of every place visited, every person encountered, and every sensation savoured along the way.
